Default Vista faster boot by using multiple core.

When you look at the title you thinking to yourself, he is kidding me. If you dual or quad core CPU vista uses just 1 to start Vista.
Well i thought the same when browsing true the msconfig file. I have heard rumors about so was curious to see if it was true. Well it is true.

What to do ?.

Goto Start -> Typ "msconfig". A popup will open, select Boot/start. Go to advanced option. Select numbers of cores, apply and reboot.

Thats it.

To really see the difference I think you need a Quad. 1 or 2 cores running doesnt really make a difference I suspect. My boot was between 10 and 20 sec faster. BUt didnt feel like it was faster.

I didn't notice much difference on my Quad core on windows 7 that boots quick as hell anyway . But I think it made my laptop a bit faster.
